Healthcare Practitioner Community Support Toolkit
April 3, 2025 - 10:00 am – 11:00 am
online
The Saskatchewan Healthcare Recruitment Agency (SHRA) has recently released the Healthcare Practitioner Community Support Toolkit. The toolkit was created in collaboration with Saskatchewan communities who were supporting healthcare workers at the local level and aims to capture the strategies and initiatives that have been utilized across the province to support retention efforts. The toolkit is designed for communities who are welcoming new healthcare providers arriving from within the province, the country, or overseas, and looks to offer guidance for how communities can support these individuals and families with available resources. As the SHRA continues to collaborate and learn from communities and stakeholders, the toolkit is a living document where new versions will be created, taking into consideration best-practices and collected feedback.
Join us on Thursday, April 3 at 10:00 a.m. for the webinar Healthcare Practitioner Community Support Toolkit to learn about the SHRA as well as the Healthcare Practitioner Community Support Toolkit, and to gain insight into various strategies that are being used throughout Saskatchewan. A community leader who has been successfully implementing strategies in their home community will join to share their experience and lessons learned.
