Virtual North, Northwest, Northeast, and West Central Regional Meeting

We love visiting you in your communities for regional meetings. However, to ensure your safety and the safety of all Municipalities of Saskatchewan members and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are moving regional meetings online for 2020.

Municipal administration and elected officials from the North, Northwest, Northeast and West Central regions are invited to come together on December 1 to receive an update on what Municipalities of Saskatchewan is doing and an education session on governance. After that, you will breakout into regions to talk about your successes, discuss common regional issues, and elect your Regional Director and Alternate Regional Director.

Municipal Leaders' Roles and Responsibilities Workshop

Municipalities of Saskatchewan is offering a virtual Municipal Leaders' Roles and Responsibilities (MLRR) Workshop. A part of the Municipal Leadership Development Program (MLDP), MLRR is developed exclusively for elected and appointed municipal leaders in Saskatchewan. This workshop, for new and returning council members and municipal staff, will provide essential information on council procedures and municipal roles.

The cost to attend is $45 per registrant. Attending the workshop will count as a credit towards the completion of MLDP.

Municipalities of Saskatchewan will also be offering the workshop on March 2, 2021. More information on the March 2 session will be available following Convention 2021.
