Town of Raymore Requires a Temporary Full-Time Town Maintenance/Public Works Employee
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Operate equipment including, but not limited to, trucks, tractors with loader, and mowers
- Responsible for operation and maintenance of the water and wastewater system
- Responsible for daily testing at our swimming pool for summer months
- General maintenance including mowing, whipper snipping, tree pruning, snow removal, street signs and swimming pool
- Maintenance of town equipment
- Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Bending, kneeling, stretching and reaching
- Working with required chemicals and fuels • Subject to “call out” duties if required
- Work requires being outdoors everyday regardless of weather conditions
- Work without direct supervision but within approved policies, procedures, and specifications
- Other miscellaneous duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Driver’s License
- Power Mobile Equipment Operator Training
- High School Diploma or equivalent
The following qualifications are considered an asset:
- Class 1 Wastewater Treatment and Wastewater Collection Certification
- Swimming Pool Operators Course
Wage negotiable based on experience.
