Resort Village of Saskatchewan Beach Seeking a Maintenance Worker
The Resort Village of Saskatchewan Beach is accepting applications for a Maintenance Worker.
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Worker position is a public works staff member who will assist in the following:
- Maintaining roads, alleys and ditches, including snow removal.
- Maintaining parks, beaches, washrooms and other duties as required.
- Maintaining all village equipment, machinery and buildings.
- Ensure overall cleanliness of the village.
Skills:
- Team player, highly motivated and capable or working with minimal supervision.
- Proven organizational, communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to safely and effectively operate and maintain heavy and light equipment; grader, skid steer, gravel truck, mowers.
- Ability to safely and effectively operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform physical duties.
- Ability to maintain all village buildings and associated structures.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 license.
- Grader and skid steer certification would be an asset.
This position starts immediately for three (3) days per week until April 15th, and full time from April 15 to September 30. The possibility of full time, year round employment in the future exists.
Wage will be negotiated based on qualifications and experience.
