City of Flin Flon Seeking a Chief Administrative Officer
With the assistance of HMC Management Inc., https://hmcmanagement.net/, Council is seeking the services of a qualified Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to provide professional leadership and direction for the City of Flin Flon. Flin Flon has a population of 5,099 and is governed by an elected municipal council comprised of the Mayor and 6 Councillors.
The City of Flin Flon is proudly located in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, as it sits on the border of the two (2) provinces. Flin Flon forms the core of the region, as it is within reasonable driving distance to the Town of Creighton (5 minutes) and the Village of Denare Beach (15 minutes). Flin Flon also serves many members of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation (PBCN) communities.
If you have over five (5) years of progressive experience as a CAO or senior management experience with a proven track record of success in a progressive municipality, other public sector organization(s), or private sector of comparable complexity, then this is the position you have been waiting for.
You should also have successfully graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution with a diploma or degree in Public Administration or a related discipline, and a thorough understanding of local government is required.
The salary range for the position is $110,000 - $160,000 for the right candidate who meets Council’s qualifications and expectations. The application deadline is May 10, 2024. Only those candidates selected to be interviewed will be contacted.
