The City Manager is the chief administrative officer of the City of Moose Jaw and oversees the operations of the municipality. The City Manager provides effective advice and support to the Mayor and Council in developing and implementing policies and strategies that address the unique needs of the City of Moose Jaw.

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • A degree in a related discipline
  • Minimum of five year’s experience in a senior executive level role
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing and leading employees in a large organization

  • Superior networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated experience with executive level critical thinking and strategic planning
  • Demonstrated leadership experience effectively working with a Board of Directors
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional service and best practices in public administration
  • Knowledge of municipal legislation and relevant Provincial and Federal statutes is an asset
