Town of Maple Creek seeks Chief Administrative Officer

The Town of Maple Creek is seeking to fill the position of Chief Administrative Officer. This position requires an individual who can identify and evaluate risks and maintain high levels of efficiency and productivity while developing policies and procedures. The Chief Administrative Officer manages the operating budget, provides strategic direction and monitors contracts and legislation. Establishing a succession plan, managing office resources and preparing budgets are key requirements of this role. The Chief Administrative Officer will continue to promote Maple Creek as a Town known for growth and success.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate solid experience in rural/municipal operations and possess economic development knowledge. The proven ability to perform in a multi-stakeholder environment through positive collaboration and excellent interpersonal skills are a must. A Local Government Authority (LGA) Standard “C” Certification with in-depth knowledge of The Municipalities Act is required. Preference will be given to Applicant with 5 years or more relevant Municipal experience.
