Register Now for Fall MLDP Modules

Nov 17, 2016

While SUMA staff are giving the Municipal Leaders' Roles and Responsibilities workshops around Saskatchewan, we also remind you that you can register for the other Municipal Leadership Development Program (MLDP) modules coming up later this fall. These workshops are a great way for council members to network and learn about strengthening leadership in local government. Past attendees have had glowing reviews:

  • "Great presenter with a vast knowledge of the material as well as a varied background on many aspects of the profession."
  • "Very good workshop — I wish that all of council would take it!"
  • "All councillors should be encouraged to take this workshop. People are our most valuable resource and can also be our biggest liability."
  • "Very knowledgeable presenter, great flow of presentation."
  • "So good, I missed my afternoon nap!"

The fall 2016 MLDP modules are quickly approaching (November 28 – December 2) and we still have lots of space available. If you are thinking about attending, please register as soon as possible. It’s never too late to learn something new, but we'd hate for you to miss this fantastic opportunity tailor-made for Saskatchewan's municipal leaders. Workshops run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and even include lunch! All five workshops are running this fall:

Register today on the MLDP website to secure your spot. If you have any questions, you can contact the program coordinator, Ashley Leugner, by email or at 306-761-3931.
