Over 1,000 representatives from Saskatchewan’s cities, towns and villages will gather in Regina at the SUMA’s (SUMA) 107th Annual Convention, taking place January 29 to .  
 
SUMA is the voice of urban Saskatchewan, with over 450 member urban governments, representing 82% of the population. The annual convention provides SUMA members with opportunities to network with colleagues from around the province and engage in discussion on matters affecting their communities.
 
The theme for this year’s convention Urban Matters: A Growing Agenda is a reflection of the increasing role that urban governments play in growing Saskatchewan and the many complex issues they face.
 
Sports legend Michael “Pinball” Clemons is the Convention’s keynote speaker. Mr. Clemons will give a high-energy presentation about his experiences, teamwork, and what it means to be involved in a community.
 
All events will take place at the Queensbury Convention Centre (Salon ABC), Evraz Place, 1700 Elphinstone Street, Regina, Saskatchewan.
