Village of Avonlea Seeking a Water Treatment & Distribution Operator/Maintenance Operator
The Village of Avonlea is currently seeking applications for the permanent full-time position of Water Treatment & Distribution Operator/Maintenance Operator.
This position requires someone who currently possesses the following:
- Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver’s License
- Class 2 Water Treatment and Class 1 Distribution
- Class 1 Wastewater Treatment and Collection; however, Council is willing to consider an individual with Water Treatment Level 1, if the individual is willing to training towards Level 2.
- Knowledge and experience managing a Water Treatment Facility
- Experience with operating commercial mowers, skid steer and street sweeper
The applicant should be willing to work a casual weekend rotation.
A complete list of duties can be requested from the Village office.
The position includes a benefit package including Basic life insurance, Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, Extended Health Care, Dental and Vision; and a defined benefit pension plan that is shared equally between the Employer and employee.
