Town of Lemberg Seeking a Public Works Foreman
The Town of Lemberg is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Public Works Foreman. The successful candidate will oversee municipal public works operations and help ensure the safe and efficient delivery of essential services.

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, key responsibilities include:
- Planning and assigning daily work while maintaining safety standards
- Overseeing water and wastewater systems, infrastructure maintenance, landfill operations, and equipment management
- Completing required reports, records, and documentation
- Monitoring inventories, equipment maintenance, and asset condition
- Ensuring compliance with municipal bylaws, policies, and OH&S regulations
- Communicating with Administration, Council, contractors, and the public
Qualifications:
- Experience in municipal public works or a related field is an asset
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of infrastructure and public works operations
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract
- Ability to successfully pass a Criminal Record Check
Preferred Certifications (or willingness to obtain):
- Class 1 Water Treatment & Distribution
- Class 1 Wastewater Treatment & Distribution
- WHMIS 2015
- Confined Space Entry & Rescue
- CPR/First Aid C, H2S Alive
- Pesticide Applicator Course, Supervisory Training, Power Mobile Equipment
