Town of Colonsay Seeks Town Foreman
The Town of Colonsay is taking applications for the position of Town Foreman.
The Foreman is responsible for coordinating the overall operations of the Colonsay Public Works Department including water and sewer operations, street and sidewalk repair and maintenance as well as town property and equipment in co-ordination with Council and administration. Good communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, written and electronic record keeping are required of the candidate.
Minimum requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating powered mobile equipment
- Criminal record check and driving abstract
Preference will be given to applicants with:
- Certification in Water Distribution and Treatment
- Certification in Wastewater Collection and Treatment
- Supervisor Experience
- Mechanical Skills
