Resort village elections are July 27. Have you thought about running for municipal council?

SUMA is offering a free virtual session on June 12 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. to all resort village residents interested in learning more about being on municipal council.

During the first part of the session, Municipal Governance 101: Resort Villages, learn:

• How democracy works
• The roles and responsibilities of council
• Navigating conflicts of interest
• Challenges unique to resort villages

The session will also include a virtual “Resort Village Hall” where you can ask your municipal governance questions.
