Increasing Funding for Transit for the Disabled

Resolution
Be it resolved that SUMA urge the Provincial Government to renew its commitment to specialized transportation services, beginning in the 2000-01 budget year, by: a) Increasing operational and capital funding for the Transit Assistance for the Disabled Program, and b) Creating greater flexibility for municipalities in the program for service delivery and revenue generation.
