Reconsidering Certification Requirements for Village Clerks

Be It Resolved that the SUMA lobby the provincial government to amend Section 63 of The Urban Municipality Act, 1984 to remove entirely the requirement that clerks in urban municipalities between 100 and 500 population be certified by the Urban Board of Examiners.
