Waiving Municipal Surcharges for Residences Without Heating Options

Be It Resolved that the SUMA request that the SaskPower Corporation implement a program so that the additional charge (municipal surcharge) under Section 36 of The Power Corporation Act is not applied to that portion of the electrical energy which is used for the purpose of heating a residence that does not have access to any other commercial form of heating fuel.
