Implementing Redistribution of RCMP Costs

Be It Resolved that the SUMA: a) call upon the Government of Saskatchewan to introduce clear plans and timeline for the redistribution of RCMP charges, so that all municipalities without detachments situated within the community pay an equal per capita share of the cost of policing (as recommended by the Task Force); and b) request that the province implement the recommendations of the Task Force on Policing by June, 1998.
