Providing for Four-year Terms with Elections Every Two Years

Resolution
Be it resolved that SUMA lobby the Provincial Government to provide, in the case of all urban municipalities other than cities, for municipal elections to take place every two years, with one half of the council positions open in each election (and the mayor's position every other election), so all council members would serve four-year terms of office.
