Provincial funding to assist in controlling wildlife

Resolution
Whereas the rising number of wildlife in and around our province is a concern; and Whereas the frequency of wildlife entering into the boundaries of urban municipalities is increasing; and Whereas there is no provincial funding available to assist urban governments in controlling the wildlife population; Therefore be it resolved that the SUMA lobby the Ministry of Government Relations to create a funding program that offsets the costs associated with controlling wildlife from entering into urban centres.
