Be it resolved that SUMA and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) urge the federal government to pressure the United States to immediately eliminate the 19% softwood lumber tariff, which will be in keeping with the NAFTA Agreement and ensure the free flow of goods across our shared border.
