More money is needed for municipalities

The SUMA is extremely pleased with the Provincial<br /> Government&rsquo;s decision to revisit their commitment to Revenue Sharing with municipalities.<br /> Increasing the Revenue Sharing pool by 15 per cent instead of the 7 per cent announced in the<br /> Budget last month will certainly help to keep municipal property taxes at a reasonable level.<br />
