Amendments to occupational health and safety regulations require all employers to ensure workers who may be exposed to WHMIS-controlled products have the modified WHMIS training known as WHMIS 2015.
WHMIS 2015 training is available to urban operators and foremen on Monday, February 4 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
This program covers the basics of WHMIS, providing workers with general knowledge and skills to work safely around hazardous materials. It covers worker education, workplace labelling, and material safety data sheets.
A certificate is issued to each candidate upon successful completion of a written examination.
Location: Centennial Hall C, TCU Place, Saskatoon, SK.

Municipal employees registered for this course are automatically registered as observers at the Municipal Marketplace Tradeshow and will have access to the tradeshow all day Sunday and Monday. WHMIS registrants can use their name badge for tradeshow entry.
