On Thursday November 27 at 10:00 a.m. join us for an introductory webinar on brownfield sites. Getting Started with Brownfields: Rules, Responsibilities, and Funding provides a practical overview of brownfield redevelopment, including what defines a brownfield, how these sites are regulated, and the roles of federal, provincial, and municipal governments. Participants will learn the fundamentals of remediation and risk management, the key requirements of the Saskatchewan Environmental Code, and the roles and responsibilities of Qualified Persons—particularly when dealing with off-site impacts. The session will also highlight available incentive programs and funding sources, including the Impacted Sites Fund, to help support early-stage brownfield work.
