Be it resolved that the SUMA solicit the support of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities to lobby the federal Department of Transport to apply the transitional compensation measures fairly and therefore retroactively to those municipalities affected by the termination of rail lines since the Grain Handling and Transportation Review began in 1998.
