City of Prince Albert Seeks City Manager
The City of Prince Albert is seeking a dynamic, visionary City Manager to lead administration and drive the City’s Strategic Plan forward. The ideal candidate is an accomplished municipal or executive leader with a minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience, collaboration, strong communication, and the ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholders. They bring expertise in financial management, strategic planning, leadership, and change management, along with a commitment to fostering a dynamic, inclusive, sustainable community.
Qualifications:
- A post secondary degree in public or business administration, or a related field relevant to leading a complex public sector organization or overseeing municipal functions. A master’s degree is considered an asset. Candidates with an equivalent blend of executive experience, advanced professional development, and demonstrated lifelong learning may also be considered.
- At least 10 years of progressive senior executive or municipal management experience.
- Proven ability to work effectively with elected officials and navigate politically sensitive environments.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, financial oversight, and leading large, multifaceted organizations.
- Experience in organizational change management, community engagement, and public sector leadership.
- A clear commitment to reconciliation, partnership-building, and inclusive community development.
