This presentation by seasoned privacy and cyber security lawyer Kristel Kriel will provide a brief overview of key considerations for municipalities from a cyber security perspective (including related privacy requirements), and will walk attendees through a mock incident involving a municipality to see how the considerations play out in a real life example. Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of how cyber security issues can impact their operations and how they can better plan for and respond to incidents to minimize associated risks.
