Transportation Rescue Extrication (TREX) Program

The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency has developed a unique auto extrication program, made possible through a partnership with SGI, that is appropriately scalable for fire departments of all sizes and compositions. The Transportation Rescue Extrication Program, or TREX for short, offers training courses to fire departments across the province, ensuring firefighters meet standardized training and equipment levels based on their communities’ needs and the department's capacity to safely maintain the required skills and equipment.

Join us on Tuesday November 8 at 10:00 a.m. to learn about the TREX Program, including eligibility criteria, the service level options and the different program phases. The TREX Program is expected to launch at the end of November 2022.
