City mayors and managers are meeting in Regina today for the SUMA (SUMA) City Mayors’ Caucus to discuss issues important to the province’s largest municipalities.
“Cities carry a great deal of responsibility in Saskatchewan,” said Mayor Fraser Tolmie, chair of the City Mayors’ Caucus and Mayor of Moose Jaw. “The City Mayors’ Caucus is a forum where we can define our common concerns and share potential solutions.”
The City Mayors’ Caucus brings together the mayors of Saskatchewan’s 16 cities, offering not only a forum to discuss issues but also an opportunity to project a strong and unified voice on local and provincial issues facing municipalities.
