Resolution
Be it resolved that SUMA continue to lobby the Federal Government to immediately increase funding for RCMP officer training and operations to a level that would ensure that all vacant RCMP officer positions are filled as quickly as possible; and Be it further resolved that individual municipalities across Saskatchewan be encouraged to engage in a letter writing campaign to express their concern to federal and provincial leaders regarding the high number of RCMP officer vacancies in the province.
