Removing Exemptions on Agricultural Society Properties Used for Casinos

Resolution
Be it resolved that SUMA request that the Minister of Municipal Affairs, Culture & Housing amend Section 275(1)(l) of the Urban Municipality Act, 1984 to provide that the land and buildings of every agricultural society established or continued pursuant to the Agricultural Societies Act be exempt from taxation except any building or part of a building used as a casino and the land used in connection therewith.
