Be it resolved that SUMA encourage Environment Canada to work with the provincial environment agencies in matters dealing with sewage effluent in an effort to ensure that municipalities are not put in the position of trying to satisfy two agencies with differing guidelines and to eliminate the need for both agencies to have field staff monitoring sewage effluent.
