Requiring Water Facility Inspectors to Be Certified at the Level of Operators

Be it resolved that SUMA lobby the provincial government to ensure that any legislation regarding the inspection of water treatment facilities by SERM staff mandates the inspectors to have a level of certification, under the Saskatchewan Water and Wastewater Works Operator Certification Standards 2000, of at least the equivalent of the operator of the facility being inspected.
