Service Canada | Opportunities Fund for Persons with Disabilities | Funding for programs that enhance skills for employment, and could cover wage subsidy, self-employment, enhanced employment assistance services and, employer awareness | Year-round

Economic Development

Employment and Social Development Canada | Canada Summer Jobs | Funding to help employers create meaningful work experience in the form of full-time summer job opportunities for students. It is designed to focus on local priorities, while helping both students and their communities. Wage subsidy of up to 50% of the provincial minimum wage to public sector employers | January 20, 2017

Western Economic Development Canada | Western Diversification Fund | Funding for clean technology or indigenous economic development projects that help to develop and diversify the western Canadian economy, and activities where economic and/or employment benefits accrue primarily within Western Canada | Call for proposals accepted from January 25, 2017 to February 23, 2017

Citizen and Immigration Canada | Inter-Action Multiculturalism Grants and Contributions Funding | Up to $25,000 for events that foster multiculturalism and creating an integrated, socially-cohesive society | Year-round

Service Canada | Career Focus | Funding for range of activities that enable youth make more informed career decisions and develop their skills | Year-round

Service Canada | Opportunities Fund for Persons with Disabilities | Funding for programs that enhance skills for employment, and could cover wage subsidy, self-employment, enhanced employment assistance services and, employer awareness | Year-round

Service Canada | Skills Link | Up to $25,000 per program participant available to employers who offer eligible activities to youth who face barriers to employment; for projects up to 30 weeks | Year-round

Federation of Canadian Municipalities | Green Municipal Fund | Up to $1.5 million in funding,  resources and access to low interest loans for municipal sustainable development projects | Next deadline for capital project funding is March 1, 2017

Federation of Canadian Municipalities | Municipalities for Climate Innovation Program | Grants for plans and studies available in March 2017, other program funding available in Spring and Fall 2017

TD Friends of the Environment Fund | Grants of $2,000 to $8,000 for environmental initiatives, with a primary focus on environmental education and green space programs | July 15, 2017

Federation of Canadian Municipalities | Green Municipal Fund | Up to $1.5 million in funding,  resources and access to low interest loans for municipal sustainable development projects | Year-round

Federation of Canadian Municipalities | Municipal Asset Management Program | Training and funds to equip municipal decision-makers with the necessary tools to make infrastructure dollars go further, starting in Spring 2017

Government of Saskatchewan | Community Airport Partnership | Up to $275,000 in matching grants intended to cover capital costs of airport rehabilitations and upgrades | March 31, 2017

Government of Saskatchewan | Northern Capital Grants Program | Funding for build or purchase of municipal infrastructure and capital assets | Year-round

Government of Saskatchewan | Northern Water and Sewer Program | Funding to help northern communities with new water and sewer systems or expansion, upgrading, or replacement of existing water and sewer systems | Year-round

SaskCulture | Community Cultural Engagement and Planning | Up to $25,000 in matching funds for municipal initiatives that explore, engage, and plan for the culture and cultural life of a community | Deadline: February 15

SaskCulture | Aboriginal Arts and Cultural Leadership Grant | Up to $30,000 to help support the sharing of cultural skills and knowledge with young peoples through mentorship opportunities | Deadline:  April 15 and October 15

SaskCulture | Museum Grant Program | Funding to help museums achieve operational excellence | Deadline: November 30

SaskEnergy | Community BBQ Program | Provision of a BBQ trailer and up to $500 to cover food costs to support for community events taking place between May 1 to Sept 30; available in Moose Jaw, Swift Current, North Battleford, Prince Albert, Saskatoon, Yorkton, Weyburn and Regina | Year-round
