Towns, Villages, and Northern Municipalities Gather for Sector Meeting

More than 100 representatives from Saskatchewan towns, villages, resort villages, and northern municipalities met in Regina today for the SUMA (SUMA) sector meeting.

“This is a great opportunity for our members to come together with other municipal officials from similar-sized communities,” said Mike Strachan, Vice-President of Villages, Resort Villages, and Northern Municipalities.

“These meetings allow us to talk about the issues that our hometowns are facing,” said Vice-President of Towns Rodger Hayward. “They are also an opportunity to share our successes. Innovation is budding in our communities, and we have a lot of knowledge to share with one another.”
