Volunteer Fire Fighter Insurance

All municipal fire fighters in good standing of a fire brigade operated by the municipality or organization named on the application form are covered.  Any person who volunteers their services at the scene of a fire will also be covered, provided that the offer of services is approved by the Fire Chief or someone acting on their behalf.

Fire fighters are covered for injury wherever they are on duty – both in their own municipality and in any other municipality.  This includes travel to and returning directly from the fire (whether on a fire truck or otherwise), at fire drills, parades, and tests or demonstrations of any fire fighting apparatus?.
