City of Meadow Lake seeks Parks and Recreation Manager

The City of Meadow is accepting applications for the full time permanent position of Parks and Recreation Manager. Reporting to the City Manager, this position provides leadership and oversight to the Parks and Recreation Department and all recreation facilities.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: facilitating community recreation opportunities; coordinating meetings of the Recreation Board; creating and managing the department's operating and capital budgets; and reviewing, implementing, and recommending changes to the department's operating policies and procedures.

The following are the qualifications of the position: Minimum Grade 12 Degree in Recreation/Leisure Management is an asset. Minimum 4 years leadership experience, preferably in a similar environment. Arena Operator, Pool Operator, and/or Ice Facility Operator certification is an asset. A history of strong involvement in sports, recreation and/or cultural activities. A valid Class 5 Driver's Licence. A satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
