Director of Infrastructure and Planning

The City of Martensville has an opening for a permanent full-time Director of Infrastructure and Planning.

The Director of Infrastructure and Planning reports directly to the City Manager.  Reporting to the Director are the Planning Manager, Engineering Assistant and the Public Works Superintendent.  Support services are shared with the Director of Recreation and Community Services.  The Director is responsible for providing a range of municipal services including engineering, inspection, operation and maintenance of equipment, roads, utilities, municipal planning and development, parks planning, capital and major projects.  The Director will work closely with the City's Senior Management Team and provide guidance and support.
Applicants require, at minimum, post-secondary education in civil engineering, planning, or a related field plus at least 10 years experience in progressively responsible positions.
